Advice

Dear passengers,

the corona pandemic has changed a lot, including our perception of whether a vehicle is full or empty. Keeping your distance is more important than ever to reduce the risk of infection. Therefore, MVG is upholding almost all its services and available space despite decreased passenger numbers. In addition, with our occupancy indicator, we offer you the opportunity to check the expected occupancy on your route for the desired time period before you start your journey.

Please note:

Data source: The information published here on the occupancy of our vehicles is generally based on the last ten comparable days of operation. The data comes from the counting devices of our vehicles and enables assumptions about future journeys. Disruptions or other influences can lead to major deviations, so that the assumptions temporarily do not apply.

Representation: We indicate time windows for each line and show the expected occupancy rates using a simple traffic light system. All lines for which current data from passenger counting devices are available are listed. A section of the route is marked yellow when the occupancy rate is more than 20 percent. We will continuously develop and optimize the occupancy indicator.

Our recommendation: We generally ask that you refrain from unnecessary journeys during the corona pandemic and avoid rush hour. If you can, postpone your trips to another period.
